FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - IRRATIONAL FEAR RETURNS
9/6/05
Louisville, KY - Irrational Fear returns to the stage after an unanticipated
five month hiatus. The band was sidelined after lead singer Lynn Elliott
was in a near fatal car accident. After recovering from extensive injuries
which included broken bones in her neck, back and pelvis, Elliott is looking
forward to performing again! Along with Rebecca Reed and backed by
the rhythm section of Donnie Arbuckle and Derek Carpenter, Irrational
Fear has planned a strong comeback.
Irrational Fear's official "comeback" party begins on September 16th at
Uncle Pleasant's at 2126 S. Preston St. Louisville KY. Irrational Fear then
takes it on the road to Boston, MA, where they will perform in this year's
NEMO Music Festival. Irrational Fear was selected to play in the official
GoGirls Music NEMO showcase. The band landed a prime time slot with
some other great acts. "...On Saturday, Oct. 1st, GoGirls Music will be
kicking off a showcase with a bill packed full of talented/inspirational
female musicians. ...Together The Inklings, Irrational Fear, The Pink Slips,
Jodelle and Gilli Moon will show NEMO attendees exactly why they have
been dubbed extraordinary female artists on the go." (NEMO Newsletter
Aug. 2005 Issue). In other news, Irrational Fear's song "Space Between"
has just been chosen for this year's GoGirls Music Fest '05 Compilation CD.
Irrational Fear will donate all proceeds from their CD "Closer To Daylight"
