On June 1, 2002, Indecensy started as four friends jamming in a garage.
From that point on ideas seemed to make sense. Within two months as a
four piece band they had written five songs and scored their first show at
the Knights of Columbus Hall on August 14th 2002. Deciding that we wanted
more set length we had one of our good friends Elijah to be a special guest
with a song that we had worked with. After having good reviews of that show
we invited him to join the band. As a whole we decided to strengthen the guitar
sound so we invited our friend Tim to play guitar in the band.
After many shows and many more practices Indecensy is now a band that
is on the tongue of everyones mouth. We decided to record at Choose the
Right Music recording studio in Pekin, Indiana. We put out an "Erase Me" demo
cd which went through our hands as fast as we could print them. We went
back and recorded a full lenth cd entitled "Offense Against Delicacy" which has
been selling fast also. Between them both Indecensy has gotten airplay on Clear
Channel Communications station 100.5 WTFX,as well as interviews and airplay on
105.1 WLRS, and Underground Lou.com where "Hail Mary" reached number six on
the top twenty. Our website www.Indecensy.com has received at least 200 hits
a day since the release of the two discs. In March of 2003 Indecensy scored a show
with Columbia Recording Artists, Fingertight.
