Cadillac started by learning cover songs, about thirty, from Guns N' Roses to The Beatles to David 
 Bowie.  After doing a couple of shows as a cover band, they were through with covers and began
 focusing on original music, Matthew especially.  By their next show, they were doing an original set
 with a cover here and there. 
 
 As of now, the band has acquired their own sound, hard to describe, it is a mix of rock n' roll, jazz,
 and punk.  Very original, very progressive, none of their songs really sound the same.  Once described
 as "The Ramones if the Clash would have taught them how to play their instruments."
